The Christmas card

Yes, that was our Halloween picture, which was supposed to help us get our cards out earlier this year. Otherwise I would've done an updated nativity scene with a live baby Paloma representing baby Jesus as was our plan with our last Christmas letter two years ago.

It was David's idea to use the Halloween photo with the line, have an incredible Christmas. Almost no one had seen us at Halloween because Carmen had that mystery rash. I agreed it would be funny and easier than starting from scratch, so we used Adobe Photoshop to take out the background, put in the new background, scooted Gabe in a little, and added a mask to Paloma's face (I couldn't bear to really put one on her on Halloween).

We couldn't order them online, however, because we couldn't get an "ñ" online. Had to make two trips instead and teach the photo lab employees how to get an "ñ": Alt+0241 in Windows or option+n then n on a Mac.

Mom thought our cards were weird, but mostly they've made people laugh, so I'm glad we did it.
