Woo-hoo!

I don't need a root canal. My dentist friend feared I would need a root canal since the broken tooth and missing filling left such a gaping hole.

But that was my prayer, and I am so relieved.

I now have a temporary crown, and our new insurance and new dentist turned out to be faster and cheaper than the old insurance.

I'm looking forward to not being sore from the numbing shots and oh, my aching gums. But I am so relieved.

I tried to get a copy of my x-ray for the blog, but on my way out, the dentist grabbed the printout and wrote on it, showing me how close the nerve was to being exposed. Scary!

Another good thing was I almost finished reading Same Kind of Different As Me. This is good because I need to give it back to the person who lent it to me and so I can start reading the 7th Harry Potter book that a student loaned to me!

I also took the Baby Name Wizard with me, which led to a fun conversation with the dental assistant Arianna and another employee, Miranda, but I didn't end up getting to look at it at all.
