Paloma's dance class week 3
Paloma posed for a picture in her fancy dance costume (that was Carmen's when she was 3 or 4).
Paloma greeted Zoe and Maya and told them she was happy to see them and dance with them.
But you can kinda see on Zoe's face that she already had decided not to enjoy dance today.
Paloma went to ask the girls if they were going to come and dance.
But they were sitting by the wall and watching instead.
Amy didn't want to reward their behavior by letting them do as they pleased.
Kirstin and Reese stayed on track.
And eventually they did something that the girls wanted to do: If You're Happy and You Know It!
Zoe forgot (at least temporarily) that she didn't want to dance!
But did you know bear crawls were part of ballet or tap?
Maya and Zoe's participation was short-lived, however.
Paloma remembers marching even when she gets home.
And she's still enthusiastic about the stamps and stickers they get at the end.
Afterwards, we had a little fender bender in the parking lot with Christine and Kirstin; I was driving Mom's huge SUV and Christine and I were both backing up. I thought only I was moving because I could see her mom standing next to her car in my mirror... Mom's car wasn't hurt but the damage to her car cost $225 to fix. We split it and I hope there are no hard feelings!
We went to Rosa's for Taco Tuesday after class and it was CRAZY crowded, and with our group of 5 families, (mine, Mom & Dad, Amy's, Allison's, and Colette's) even more so. Still I was thankful for the help with dinner since David was still out of town!
