Each day is a little life.

We went back to see Dr W (yes, one day after we'd been there for Carmen) for Eva's 2 month appointment.
He got to see the cooing and smiling for himself.
(She just became verbal in the last week or so.)
Before Eva's shots, Gabe begged me to leave the room because he didn't want to see her hurt.
Paloma and Carmen stayed, though. For the record: Eva weighs 14 lbs 6 oz. David says her rap name is "Chunky E".

Eva did not appreciate the shots. This was after the first dose but before the second. And after that she nursed and settled down. Of course I hate the shots too, but I'm glad to be there to help her get over them more quickly.
Next, Carmen got her hairs cut. We've been taking the kids to a nearby barber shop run by a Vietnamese couple. David speaks French with them.

Paloma had her hair trimmed, too. This might be her first haircut. I can't remember!

After that, I called David to see if he could take off work early so we could go to Splash. He met us there after Paloma's nap for a Friday afternoon swim.
Eva slept well for a little while in the shade.
When she awoke, I put her swimsuit on her.

Gabe spent a lot of time just floating. Carmen was off swimming on her own. She's turned in to such a fish this summer, I can never get her picture.
Paloma stayed local, too.
Once Eva was awake, I hung around the little kids' pool with my camera.
