
David had to go back to work so I had the kids on Wednesday. Although there were many things to do in the house, I wanted to do something special with them, so I took them to one of my favorite restaurants, La Bistro (where I haven't been in years), for lunch.

It's a nice, quiet little place, and there were no other kids there. You know, cloth tablecloths, candles, a real flower on the table. But they also serve a large plate of garlic bread right away, so even Paloma was well-behaved and silent!


After lunch we picked Lauren up and spent the rest of the day making cupcake invitations.

So file this under "me & my big mouth".
