Happy Birthday Benjamin!

We helped celebrate Benjamin's 8th birthday at his Mad Science/ Ben 10 party.
The Mad Scientist showed the kids all kinds of neat things including fire and electricity.
Carmen took a minute to pose with cousin Megan.
They also got to see the range of colors in light by wearing special glasses.

But probably everyone's favorite part was watching her make cotton candy (which of course they got to eat)!
Martha complimented Paloma's green dress and I responded that I had been saving the dress for David's birthday (St. Patrick's Day) until I realized that that Sunday was also Palm Sunday, and I had different (matching) things for the girls to wear that day (mainly because we do all of the fun stuff at church on Palm Sunday).

I was unaware that Paloma was even listening until she responded, "Silly Mommy! This dress won't fit Daddy!"And of course everyone enjoyed the cake!

(And Benjamin's birthday helps me to get used to the idea of Carmen turning 8--or whatever number sounds so big--6 months from now!)
