Good Question

As we prepared invitations for Carmen's birthday party, she said, "I don't think Gabi's going to be able to come to my party." (That's David's sister who lives in Cupertino, CA.)

I responded, "You're right, Carmen. They won't be here."

"Well, why are we sending her an invitation, then?"

I explained that I like to send them things when we're sending mail so they know what's going on with us. Plus I thought they'd appreciate the Fiesta theme and the dangling piñata. I had fun creating them.

I remember when we used to send postcards each time we took a trip. But those days are long past! They recently sent us a postcard from Firenze since they spent a few weeks in Italy.

Also, I was trying to send them our family photos. But I'm not sure if we ever got them in the envelope! Gabi?
