VBS Sports

Vacation Bible School at our church (and lots of others, I noticed) had a sports theme this year. I taught elementary music and served as the photographer for the week, but this year I didn’t end up making the Friday night video. A guy who teaches multimedia in a high school volunteered to shoot & edit video, and he created the video set to the VBS music using my photos. The Sunday bulletin also featured some of my favorite photos:



I take so many photos when I’m the official photographer that it fills up our hard drive too fast, so David doesn’t want these photos mixed up with our family photos (even though lots of them are our kids and our friends’ kids).

Anyway, all of us had a busy week and I heard Carmen and Gabriel discussing what they learned several times (including in the back seat).

One of Gabriel’s teachers, Donna, had him for the second year in a row. She is such a nice person, and my heart goes out to her. Her son was killed in a military helicopter crash two years ago. Now she organizes our church’s monthly trip to meet & greet the troops as they come in on R&R flights at DFW.
