We started our week by taking Gabriel to swim lessons,
then went straight to the dentist's office, where Gabriel needed two fillings. Luckily David was able to relieve me after an hour so I didn't have to keep the girls happy there any longer.
Our evening was a lot more fun than the dentist, though. Nesha is so resourceful she planned her own party--what a great idea! We were happy to be invited.
The first thing we noticed once inside an awesome party room at Cozymel's was the noise-Noise-NOISE-NOOOOOISE! Someone thought it was a good idea to occupy the many, many children in attendance by giving them noisemakers.
Amy made a face that matched my thoughts exactly, but this particular expression looks more amused than I ever felt about the noisemakers. If I hadn't had a headache before we arrived, I did now.
It was fun to see Nesha looking all snazzy and dressed up.
Gigi made her an appropriate (and delicious) cake: Supernanny!
And the kids were thrilled that OUR supernanny Jackie was there, too!
The girls looked so cute doing their coloring in Allison's lap; unfortunately this was the best shot I got. (I have a knack for getting Allison with her eyes closed. But isn't it cute of Zoe?)
The best part about the party room was that we got to relax a little and let the kids run around before and after dinner.
We asked Jackie to clarify with Paloma about all of the things we want her to do in the potty, because Paloma kept saying that Jackie told her she could "just tinkle in the potty".
Everyone wanted to help blow out the candles, of course!
This was part of P's interpretive dance to the Brazilian music. Ole!
And the evening couldn't be complete without a group shot of all Nesha's kids. Happy Birthday, Nesha! We hope you have a wonderful, fulfilling year!
