Soccerfest Saturday
Carmen and Gabriel had 6 mini-games starting at 8 AM Saturday morning. They were staggered so David was able to coach them all and we were able to watch.
Gabe's team had to wear nets over their jerseys in this game because both teams wore almost identical uniforms. (That's him, lucky #13.)
I'm pretty sure I already mentioned about how David got irritated at the kids because they seemed to think the point of the game was throwing the ball in from out of bounds instead of kicking it towards the goal.
They didn't do that today, though!
I had to run and get Paloma off of the field during one game, but then David let her stay on their bench to drink some juice.
Paloma got tired of watching soccer, though, so she went exploring with Carissa, Miranda & Monica.
Carissa and Paloma opted to pick flowers.
Another game with no kids for substitutes...
During Gabe's last game, I took Carmen to a birthday party for her friend Kelsey. After the party, Carmen went to Kelsey's house, so it was pretty quiet at our house.
Soccer's over for this year, so we will have more free time on weeknights and Saturdays for a while!
